Age Limit

The age limit is 18-30 years as on the closing date of receipt of the online application. candidates born not before 25-06-1995 and not later than 26-06-2007. Age relaxation is applicable as per the SSC Combined Hindi Translator 2025 recruitment guidelines.

Educational Qualification

  • Junior Translation Officer(JTO) in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS): Master Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or Master Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at the degree level, etc and Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and Vice versa in Central or State Government office.
  • Junior Translation Officer(JTO) in Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ): Master Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or Master Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at the degree level, etc and Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and Vice versa in Central or State Government office.
  • Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)/ Junior Translation Officer(JTO)/Junior Translator (JT) in various Central Government Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations: Master Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or Master Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at the degree level, etc and Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and Vice versa in Central or State Government office.
  • Senior Hindi Translator (SHT)/Senior Translator (ST) in various Central Government Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations: Master Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or Master Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at the degree level, etc and Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and Vice versa in Central or State Government office.
  • Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in Central Reserve Police Force: Master Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or Master Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at the degree level, etc and Diploma/Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and Vice versa in Central or State Government office.
